Lesbians Travel World: Unexpected PRIDE in Cambodia; plus Srun Srorn and more

This was a second trip back for us to Cambodia. Sometimes disturbing, often heart-wrenching, and always chaotic, we nontheless love this country for its beautiful, strong, and resilient people. Our Supergay search brought us to Srun Srorn, an extraordinary one-of-a-kind activist: a man with a passion for helping lesbians. And on our way to Angkor Wat, we also visited Dragonfly, an LGBT community center in Siam Reap.

In July, Jenni and Lisa are traveling for a year across Asia, Africa and South America in search of the queers. Out and Around (www.OutandAround.com) is a collection of our conversations with gay people around the world who are creating change for the LGBT (Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) community. By telling the stories of these Supergays, Out and Around hopes to inspire the gay community, decrease homophobia, and raise awareness on gay issues in the developing world.
