You, Nuon SidaraSopheak CheaNech Fucci and 19 others like this.
Srun Srorn I agree with u. But why can’t we choose some one to love and live with. Society is created by people for people.

Srun Srorn for me, being gay is not a choice. it is nature. Why we have to force people to do things they dislike to?
We cannot train people to be gay because no one can train straight men to be gay.

Srun Srorn Being gay is nature, but those people who try to follow is only possible for the way of dressing or behaving… but they (straight people) cannot love or sexual attract to the same sex as the gay people.

However, i have that session at PUC university very often. if you want to learn more about the human rights and sexuality… you are welcome to the class.
Nuon Sidara Sure dear, we are not encourage sb to show their face, nature of them have in side although now they are not open but only them self that they know them self clearly. We are not promote gay. What we are doing is refer to Human Rights Base.
Nuon Sidara Showing voice in Radio and face in TV this mean we promote their rights this is equal rights

គិត ពិសិដ្ឋ I understand the Human Rights. but it should be Rights to do things which do not ruin social order. Sometimes people based too much on Human Rights come up with sth strange to the society. I’m not saying gay-orientation is bad but it is sth we should debate more.
គិត ពិសិដ្ឋ You can try to change them but should not push them too hard in order to change their mind. I don’t hate homosexual but we should not encourage them. But nowadays gays have been given too much opportunity on TV. This, I think, would only encourage those who are not yet strongly gay-oriented to act even more. I have a friend who wasn’t really gay but later become truly gay because we (his friends) always mocked about his character. Now I kind of feel sorry for that.

Srun Srorn Actually you need to under these first:
    1. Sexual Identity is biologically identity
    2. gender identity is about social construction and
    3. sexual orientation is about sexual attraction

based on human rights, rights for all human. Human (Buddha definition) is water + soil + fire + air and brain to think what is right or wrong.

Then all gay people have that too. Why can’t gay people live their simple life?
Srun Srorn Oppositely, no gay people force or discrimnate heterosexual people to be homosexual people.
Srun Srorn Why can’t be live our lives is like straight men and women?
Actually, we dont need special rights, we just want equal rights . Right to life , right to love , right to not being discrimnated right to sexuality right to privacy
គិត ពិសិដ្ឋ Of course we all people can live equally. we have right to live, right to love and so on. However, we also should understand other people’s feeling. I just think gay right is sth new compare to feminism so it’ll take time for most people to accept that.
Srun Srorn No, actually gay rights are human rights. Human rights for all people regardless disable, indigenous, poor or rich, HIV/AIDs or Cancer, LGBT or straight. We are all still human who need equal rights.

A lots of my lesbian friends have been kicked out of the house because of their living style (dressing and making friends)
Some of them were kick out of the school or punish to stand at flag column because of their dress differently (he is a boy, but dress skirt is like another girl)
គិត ពិសិដ្ឋ Yes they definitely are. I never deny that.
Srun Srorn Thank you Piseth, the country is developed effectively if all people in the country have opportunity to involve in any social issues. Many of my gay friends are business owners, govt staff, NGOs staff, artists, musicians, film stars…. we have helped to develop our country already.. but still many of them are having low educated because of their family don’t accept them. Last night, one lesbian friend called me. She is now out of her house. Her mother stopped her to make friends with girls.. and then mother stopped her from going to schools too.

We should have equal right. Why can’t she make friends, no matter what sex or gender of her friends are!
Srun Srorn There two main reasons:
1.They are bi-sexual. This type of man love both men and women
    2. They forced themselves to marry women or their parents forced them base on culture context.
